    Stall question

    Hello everyone I have a 99 suburban with a 454 with the 4l80e.
I just riped the whole car apart for a rebuilt.
    Iam putting in a new cam which is a 218-224, headers,ported heads,ported intake,and a 1800-2000 stall torque converter.

Iam worried about the stall being so high because I need to tow with his car.
I want to have fun with the car thats why i would like to get a high stall.
Is it going to be driveable on the streets and highway i want to car to feel somewhat stock.Would that burn up the tranny??
I really dont want to start any complicated problems i just want to have fun on the street and tow a few jetskis

What tables would i have to config for the stall change ??

Any advice is appricated Thanks alot everyone.

I think that stall is too small. You won't even notice much differnce over stock with it. I would look at something like the Yank Truck Thruster 2600HD http://www.converter.cc/converters/truck/truck_main.htm
This one maintains stock towing capacity, but like with any stall a big trans cooler is a must.

I know of a guy that has a 6.0L with a big cam and a 3200 stall and he tows a dirt track race car with it and has no problems.
