    LMM Dmax Tuning, anyone?

I sold EFI Live to use HP Tuners.... I assumed i should be using it anyway to work with the fords and dodges later on.

For now i plan on using it just for my LMM and i feel like i shot myself in the foot. is there anyone in here willing to help out on some minor tunes for an LMM. So far based on my searching the LMM owners are on their own s there aren't too many dmax users anyway....

    Any input would be appreciated.

This is more of a professional shop setup forum here. Efi Live has a jump on the diesel market, but I here hptuners has a nice jump on some things that Efi lives can not do. It looks easier to use then Efi live. I have downloaded the Efi live demo & it was really confusing. I am waiting for the allison tuning to come out.

Who's 220hp tune do you have and have you dynoed it? I have the 220 tune in my truck but it only picks up 100-110 at the wheels and I had to tweak it to get that.

You'll probably get more real input here. The 'other forum' just wants you to buy EFILive from them and a tune--bingo, end of support and they'll just make fun of you after that, or give you something that ruins your truck.

HPT is a serious piece of work--and at least it's stable !! Can't say the same about the other, sorry.

EFI does have a larger crowd for the Diesels unfortunately. I see about 10x as much activity from the EFI crowd than the HPT guys and I'm not talking about sales pitches either.
Could be that they had tuning available for Diesels before HPT did and another fact that EFI already has had support for the Allison for a while now where as I can't even get a ETA from HPT on it.

ETA is the next public update and we've already enabled reading for some of our beta testers

Hindsight is 20/20 as you guys know but yeah, hitting the market 6 months ahead of us gave those guys a jumpstart but definitely doesn't mean our product isn't capable.

Sometimes its hard stuffing 20lbs of work into a 5lb bag our engineers hold.

I purchased this last summer, and did not play with it much since I could not read our LBZ with it.

I assume it has LMM and LBZ support now?

Exactly how do I get LBZ/LMM support?

I believe it's a "Pro" cable. The instruction sheet does not work; the page they tell me to type in is not on your server: http://www.hptuners.com/newcust.php

No, brand new, but I had a college kid who worked the summer for me dink with loading up the software. He's not here anymore. Maybe he started the account? Dunno.

I typed in the INTERFACE S/N and the APPLICATION KEY and it did not work.

Maybe I can try the password thingy.
