    Speed Limiter Camaro 2001 3.8V6

    hi,
    i am new here, and i have a simple question:

    the 2001 Camro 3.8V6 has a speed limiter (201km/h), i want to remove this.
    What do i need, and is this easy to do.

    i want to change my tires from 215/60/R16 to 245/50/ZR16 (orginal Z28 size),
    these tires are a little bit less tall, can i change this in the PCm with the same TOOL.

    greetings patrick

    Yes, moving up the speed limiter is as easy as opening the Speedo-speed limiter window & setting the speed limiter higher.

    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    I am going off of memory, so bear with me.

    Yep its pretty simple, just go into the speedo function, there is a speed limiter function, go to it, just raise it to like 200 mph.

    As for tires you have to go to the toolbar, and click tools go to the unit conversion, it will give you boxes for tire size/rear gear size.

    (if you don't know your rear gear size, go check your door, center console, or glove box for RPO codes(bunch of codes) and look for a code you will only have one, and this is what each means.

    GU4 =3.08
    GU5 =3.23
    GU6 =3.42
    G80 =limited slip differential

    Then go to the speedo function and follow what it says to change it. then upload the tune
