    TBSS trans setting/line pressure

A buddy of mine just bought a 2WD 06 TBSS and wants me to tune it. It's completely stock, and he plans on just some intake and exhaust mods. Engine tuning shouldn't be much of a problem (assuming it's similar to my 05 GTO), but I need to check on some trans stuff before I go changing things.
First off, I was going to use Russ K's shift pressure method and use 40 at the right side of the table and see how it changes the shifts. Does 40psi sound right on the V8 cars? I know Russ told me to use 60 on my Grand Prix, but I thought 40 on the V8's was what I remember reading?
Once I'm happy with the shift firmness I was going to cut the upshift torque management in half, and then start working on the TCC stuff...but we'll go one thing at a time.
If anyone has done this, specifically on a 2 wheel TBSS, let me know.

Ok...did Russ's 0 to 40 add method on this truck and it shifts nice now.
Also cut the upshift torque management in half, set the TCC max to 100% and min to 50%, and copied over the 4th gear TCC lockup strategy to 3rd gear.
Initial test drive came out with a happy owner.
I know there has to be some TBSS guys on here though?

The owner of the vehicle liked the shifts the most when I used Russ' method and added 30psi. At 40psi he said that the shifts were just a bit too firm.
