4.3 Vortec

I have a family member who has a 2000 silverado with a 4.3 and he is wanting better gas mileage. I have searched and havent really found anything on the 4.3 . Can someone give me some ideas or have a tune they are willing to share? Im pretty sure I can treat it just like the 5.3 or 6.0 but he isnt looking for power, just better fuel mileage.

My 03 Astro has the 4.3 and I am up 2mpg and about 15lbs of torque according to the trans torque meter. Check my babbling towing thread as there are some recent copies of my tune.

I'll let the guys comment if our tunes would be compatible. I'm still learning.
