First off, my cars an 01 Camaro. I'm gonna calibrate the speedometer on a friends 01 WS-6, would this cost 2 credits? From what I've understood, it will. But I mean, will I really need to use anymore credits on my car since I already have a liscence on the vin. I just don't want to do this, and be out credits I'm gonna need for my car for whatever reason.

Yes, when you tune a vehicle it requires the vehicle to be licensed no matter if your changing fan settings, speed limiter, or spark & ve tables, tuning is tuning. Single vcm licenses for the most part only use 2 credits.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
