    LTFT & STFT gone?MAP & Injector Error

Hi, I have been having with this for awhile now and i just dont have a clue what to do or look for.My car is in my sig. It started getting BAD mpg and then the SES light came on and flashing. I replaced the O2s already. I put it on the scanner and noticed my STFT and LTFT were 0. I took a look at the DTCs and three codes come up( MAP error, Injector control circuit error, and Mifire). Misfire i believe is from the other 2.I will look at the codes again and write them done and post them up.Ill include a the log file below.Know I still have tuning to do so my tune isnt perfect but i cant do anything because Im having these problems.Help please!

Sounds like you might have some mechnical issues with the injector control circuit dtc.

The map & misfire codes might be from your cam.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I thought that too. What could be the problem with the injector ciruit dtc and would that cause the LTFT and STFT go to 0 or not show up at all?

If you have a DTC P0200 then you either have a bad injector, injector circuit driver, or bad wire. Easiest to check is the injector. You should have battery voltage on both sides of the injector with the Key On Engine Off. IF they all check out the same, then it's probably wiring or PCM.

Wiring is easy enough to check if you have the PCM wiring diagram. Just check for low ohms (<0.5 ohms) from each injector to the PCM connector (battery disconnected as well as the PCM connectors). So if it's not wiring or injectors (the injectors should be 12-16 ohms each) it's the PCM.

EC you was right about the injector code. These are the DTCs that come up.
    P0106-MAP System Performance(SES)
    P0200-Injector Control Circuit(SES)
P0300-Engine Misfire Detected(SES);Could be from the cam.
When I was changing the O2 sensors to see if that was the problem,I noticed that BOTH banks(both sides of the engine) were black. So it cant be a single injector or it would flood that cylinder and cause the car to choke.Am I right there?Could it be a fuel regulater?

Perchance did you check to see what the LTFT's were doing? Like one side maxing out + and the other maxing out -? If so, where are your o2's located and did you accidentally swap sides?

Both LTFT and STFT were just zero(0),nothing(check out the scan I posted). They never changed ay all even driving around. They are located in the collectors of the headers(Pacesetter LT Headers).I am very sure I didnt get them mixed up.Both are seperated very far apart and Im sure I didnt get em mixed up with the back.Do you think it could be that Injector circuit driver that you talked about earlier or single wire that would cause all the injectors to stay open?Reason I say all is because it doesnt seem like its just one or two injectors failed up.I checkded connections last night to see if I missed something but all seemed good.

You didn't force it into open loop did you? If so, no LTFT or STFT will be there.

Could you post your tune as well?

Well, good news, I can't see anything wrong in the tune that would cause the LTFT/STFT to be disabled.

But I also don't see any reason for the fuel trims to be doing what they are doing either. I would check for pinched/burned wires as the o2's are running around 50 mv or less most of the time.

I thought so too.Are you talking about the wires to the O2's or the injector curcuit?I do have the O2 wires extended but when I did them I KNOW I got those right because I didnt want to mess them up.

Did you solve the injector circuit code? An injector code will most likely disable closed loop.

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!Write this in your books im stupid. The #7 injector plug was just barely on.It was hiding under that big bundle on wires coming from the computer.I snap it in and drove it.Everything is great.Runs like day and night.I do feel like an idiot but my car runs so much better so I dont care.
Thank you guys for helping me with everything.

Glad you found it and glad you posted that you found it. Some people just abandon the thread when they find their problem and don't post what the solution was. Leaves all of us hanging..

    Thanks!
