    firm shift?

    I have an 06 monte carlo ss 5.3 .How do I increase the firmness of the shiftpoints?

    I have an 07 monte 5.3 and I went into the force motor table and lowered the values, I didn't have much luck raising the numbers in the shift pressure table. So by changing the force motor current (which is your pressure control solenoid) to lower numbers it gave me more line pressure.

    So, basically, you shifted the span higher to "achieve greater" pressure (so to speak)? Or did you increase the range as to not effect lower limits?
