    engine is losing fuel and sputtering

    well i have a cobalt ss/sc w/60's, 2.7 pully. been runnig the tune for a couple months and today it started sputtering and then totally shuting down. i thru a lean code and misfire code. could it be my fuel pump giving out?

    I would run a compression test sir.

    Look for trouble on piston #4, driver side. Sounds a lot like the #4 piston , ring landing failed.

    I had the seimens 60# injectors go defective on me at one time, and had gas coming out of my tailpipe. The car sputtered and died, and just kept doing that.

    I had to get them replaced by the company I bought them from and that solved my proplem. Is your problem anything like that? For me it helped to burn out all the extra fuel by disconnecting the fuel injector harness and cranking the motor over a few times.
