    TH400 Kickdown

    Is there anyway to program the pcm to activate the kickdown on a TH400? I have an 04 with DBW so I cant use the normall throttle switch, and I dont have room for one on the gas pedal (its in a toyota space is very limited).

    Depending on the enigne, is it an LS1 or LS2, I would switch to a Cable Throttle Body. Unless you want to get creative and wire up a solenoid that can activate the kickdown once a set voltage is seen from the ETC harness?

    Get creative with the lockup commands. You can use that circuit to command 2nd gear 'kickdown' for the THM400.
