MPVI Standalone Data Logging Only Getting 20 Minutes

    Hi,

I bought the MPVI Pro with the understanding I would get 80 to 90 minutes of logging capability without using a laptop. I was hoping to get at least 10 samples per second. After thoroughly reading and searching all the posts in this forum I was convinced the MPVI Pro could do all of the above.

Now that I have it, I am getting a much higher sample rate at the expense of recording time. I get only 20 minutes of logging, but I get over 42 samples per second with 24 bytes logged. The vehicle is a 2006 C6 Corvette. Besides using the MPVI Pro for tuning I was also interested in using it as a datalogger for generating TrackVision videos.

If I could switch a setting to get 40 minutes of logging I would be happy. 80 minutes would match what is found throughout this forum.

Is there a setting somewhere to do this?

    Thanks, Bert

    Something is not right!
I did about 60 minutes yesterday and still had some memory left.
Hope you find out why it does not have more memory.

The ECMs on later model cars allow sampling at a faster rate. You are getting 42 samples per second which means it will eat up the available memory at 4 times the speed. Instead of 80 minutes at 10 samples per second you get 20 minutes at 40 samples per second.
