    Exclamation invalid vin/os pair...problem

Hello all. I have a customer with a 68 Suburban that has a ls1 transplant. The person who supplied the conversion kit with wiring harness and computer had set him up with a vin#N/A00000000000000 which the HP software recognizes as invalid vin/os pair and wont allow flashing and therefore not in a tunable state for using the hp tuning software. He took it to the dealer and reflashed it with a new vin which has also apparently reflashe everything as well. Now I can reflash the beast but it runs like total crap. The original vin says 04 gto under calibration details and the new one says 03 tahoe. The dealer cant get any other vin back into the truck and he is stuck. Can anyone help with these files or tell me what to do other than start with a new computer or is the hp software not capable of getting that original vin#N/A00000000000000 back in so it is driveable?

Here is the original and the new vin# files

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Thanks!

Since you have a VIN now in the ECM, and Licensed I gather since you can flash it. Have you tried the Change VIN feature. Maybe this will work?

here's that origonal file with a valid vin number inserted, you should be able to license & flash with it without issue.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
