Being able to tune a Chevy HHR SS is the change
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

And while that would be a good excuse in reality theres just as much GM stuff being done currently as Ford, everything from new TCM support, custom operating systems, new gm file format that was introduced, etc.

I will say though that most things in this industry(with the exception of adding new definitions) take only a week to impliment.

I just wish there were a way we could help out.. It's like the old saying about the bathroom door: how long a minute is depends on which side of it your on.

So basically a BS in computer science is what you need?

Well at the end of the day you are talking about embedded microprocessor programming and most CS majors have no clue ... most EE majors on the other hand have to live and die on the Buffalo training programmer.

    No, only the 2.0t.

    The 2.4 uses a currently unsupported pcm(E37)

A whole lotta miles in the rockin' chair. Perhaps try your hand at whittling wood? Learn make a nice duck call?
My mom likes to Crochet to pass the time. In any case your in the waiting room with ALOT of people. Save your keystrokes, your just gonna make bill yell at ya..
I suspect that it won't make it in this year, with the ford stuff being double as profitable. Until another company takes interest it the pcm and provides competition, they know we have only 1 choice. Wait till they are damn good and ready.

You could give Westers' a call, he's been hard at work on the LNF pcm. He can likely give you the two things you really want. RPM & PSI.

This should give you a better idea of whats going on http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15762 to say the pcm's are "different" is an understatement & makes mapping them extremely difficult, we are also in the process of hiring two new calibration engineers to help with our ever growing work load.

Just chill out and wait. They're working their asses off to get everything under way for all types of platforms. Just like it's been mentioned in several other threads, the new computers are very different and require a LOT of time. There's no doubt in my mind that they're capable, but building the great wall of China didn't take a month or two.

I'm anxious for some features myself, and even some more Ford support. There's a HUGE market for Ford tuning support vs. the few people that actually bought a HHR SS. The Sky and Solstice are a much more viable market than the HHR SS though.

Anyways, let them do their job and when there's a release everyone will know. Shit, we might as well have a release party!
