The HHR files in question have been supported since September of 2008.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Bill, I'm trying to connect to an '08 HHR SS Manual and says it's not supported- What could be the issue? Technically it will read the PCM and Datalog, but will not allow me to download the file, or modify it, obviously.

Please contact support with a vcm suite infolog while connected to the vehicle along with a screenshot of the error you are seeing when trying to read the file.

So, is the HHR SS Auto able to be tuned with HPT now? I'd really like to delve into it.

Yes, pcm's are supported & I know at least one of the tcm's they offer is supported as well so you should be able to tune the pcm/tcm all day long.

I'm pretty sure 405HP_Z06 has been tuning his Auto HHR SS since Sept 2008 with our software.

Have you posted your tunes up on the site? I'd like to see what you've done to yours. Have you put it on a dyno to see the gains? These cars really deserve the power for the sex appeal they have.

Just curious if those are your stock cam tables as I have never read an auto HHR file?

stock tune, not modified? We're going to do the Stage kit just to keep the warranty from being any doubt since we have the 100k mile warranty and less than 20k right now. Just wanted to see what you had to do to turn up the wick.

No, the tune above is not stock. I've posted my stock tune in the past.

Cool, thanks. It will be interesting to see the differences to make this work well. I noticed there aren't many parameters to change in the HHR SS tunes.

I downloaded the file from my car and now I have a light on the dash. Its the far left indicator under the speedometer cluster and look like a car with a lock to the right of it, possibly PASSKEY/VATS? Whats the deal and how do I get rid of the light? Did anyone else get this when downloading their file on their 2008 HHR SS?
