Tuner Question Corvette

A friend has a 2002 corvette, talking to him about TM torque management
brought up the question. Is the corvette tuned in the same manner from
the factory as say my 2005 4.3l silverado. Do they use TM, timing, and
other practices to restrict performance or is tuned the way it should
be.

if its an auto then it has TM
