need help with prob plz...

hey guys, need a little help plz, Ive been searching my a$$ off and cant find an answer...

'01 LS1 swap, stock motor and sensors/accessories, stock 4l60e...

Im getting a p0121 code which does not go away with a new sensor. when I punch it at ~40mph it does not downshift, it stays at cruising speed and quickly upshifts to OD and tries to stumble as the rpm's get lower and lower. punch it anywhere else and it runs strong like the LS1 should... I tried changing out a new tps, and I tried changing the min/max to 75/85 with no luck... plz help!!! thanks in advance...

Start off with scanning the TPS. Check TPS raw
voltage and % with gas pedal free and floored.
Are the readings normal (0% at idle and 100%
floored)? <0.5V idle and >4.5V floored? Or
something else?

If the throttle body stop-tang has been aggressively
ground (bump-stop mod) then you could see
out-of-range TPS (>4.7V) and if it persists long
enough then the system will fault the TPS and
maybe give you some of this weirdness.

thanks jimmy, I appreciate the response! I have checked the tps output both with the scanner and with my meter, and got correct results both ways. I just noticed that the MAP readings are 13.34+ ALL the time, would this create the issues Im having? Im going to replace the MAP sensor next, any other ideas?
