flashing 07 08

well i am not to sure what to make of this one , but its the first time in 4 years of using hp tuners its hapened to me .

here is what happened , 2007 clubsport with a t51 garrett turbo running maf , i decided to try 2008 clubsport o/s , i did a complete rewrite as i have done hundreds of time on early models , the car started fine but had a few dtc come up so because i didnt have a lot of time to spare i tried to reflash 2007 o/s , it came up with invalid vin\os pair , unable to licence vehicle , i thought this cant be right as i have ulimited holden licence , so i downloaded the file from the pcm only to find that it had change the o\s to a saturn aura v6 2008 with a diferant vin # HELP

Manual or Automatic?
If Auto, it could be that the TCM did not reset after the read or write. I have seen that in the past.
Did you try the Write Entire again?

no both cars where manual

Hmmm. No current ideas are coming to mind other than doing the Write Entire again with the 07 program. Might even try a "battery reset" first.

i have tried Write Entire but the problem i have is i only have credit for holden commodore not saturn aura v6 2008 which is why a Write Entire does not work

Not sure why the VIN changed. Do you have the original 07 file?

this is why i am having problems , i dont know why it has reverted to saturn aura v6 2008 which i would say thats what it was when holden bought the pcm from GM , i bought one from ac delco and the tune it had in it was from a chevy averlanche
