    fan on/off settings for 160?

What should I put for the Fan on/off settings for a 160 thermostat? I was thinking 165/162 for fan 1 and 180ish for fan 2.

Also, should I enable the climate control override?

    Thanks,

Not sure what this would be in *F, but when I was running a 160* stat I had Fan 1 set to come on at 79* and turn off at 75*. Fan 2 turned on at 85* and off at 78*.

    Fan #1 on temp=185*
    Fan #1 off temp=174*
    Fan #2 on temp=187*
    Fan #2 off temp=183*

Keep Climate Control Disable set to "Disabled"

Also set your Ignition Off to 179* and whatever time you are comfortable with(mine is set to 120 sec's)

You might also want to change the enable speeds as well. Mine are now set to:

    Fan 1 Enable: 52mph
    Fan 1 Disable: 55mph
    Fan 2 Enable: 74mph
    Fan 2 Disable: 77mph

Will it have trouble keeping temp at 160 with the fans coming on that late?

Haven't had to touch those settings for two years now. Temp stays a lot more constant. With the factory one the coolant temp was all over the place.

Personally, I'd just subtract the difference between the thermostats, and then lower the on/off settings by that much (180 would be -15; 160 would be -35). Then, I'd just set the key off one at the thermostat temperature rating.

The thermostat isn't fully open at 160; it begins to open at that point. Flipping the fans once it cracks is kind of pointless, in my opinion.

    I think MMGT1's are for a 180 too. Try either Eddie's or MMGT1's for a 180. Take off 20* for a 160 I guess
