    Fan setting problem, 3400 V6

I am using a 2001 VCM program in my 1999 Alero for performance reasons.

The only problem is a glitch with the fan control settings:

"General" -Fan 1 and -Fan 2, -On Temp, and -Off Temp, setting changes have no effect.

"Ignition Off" - Disable Temp, and - Run Time, setting changes work as they should.

Is there a way to get the fans to work?

Post your current .hpt file please.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I have tried it set both ways.....

Another strange thing is when I do a "Compare File", 2001 vs. stock 1999, the label for "Climate Control"- CC Override, turns green, as if a change were possible, yet the setting is the same (Enabled). When I click "show differences", it shows blank, as it should....

The stock setting for "Security," VATS: is PWM for the 1999, and Serial for the 2001. Would a mismatch there matter?

I also have a 2003 Alero, I'll try the file from it and report back in a couple of days...
