    Strange Idel is the car still learning after computer un plug

    anyways here is what i did..i sent my one buddy a pcm 99 computer i had since my hp tuners has unlimited on 99 f bodys..

    he needed pcm with stock auto tune for 99

    i unplugged the cable connections from my car plug it into the other computer that im sending him..tunred key on loaded the stock auto tune to that computer...

    key off un plugged plugged back into the computer that in the car..

    that was 3 days ago..no this morning fire it up..wham humm that seem high

    idel is around 2000 rpms now?? drove about 15 miles to work and idel is still high??

    do i need to reload the tune that was in it?? did i loose the tune when i unplugged computer??

    im new to all this im learning as i go..i did some searches and didnt come up with anything..

    Probably the Long Term Idle Trim relearning. If you log the STIT and LTIT (idle trims) that will give you a clue as to what is going on. If you had the PCM out of the car, those values got reset to zero.

    yup was car relearning seems to working good
