06 SS/SC Not Connecting?

I know there a numerous posts on this same topic but i still cannot connect. The software worked for about 36 hours now it will not connect. Some people can use the scanner but not the editor. I CANNOT use either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. There is definately something wrong or i am not doing something correct because even after uninstalling and deleting
VCM SUITE.cfg file it never asks me for my application key.

When plugged in the green light on MPVI is on and the busy light is flashing.
I have gotten allerts saying: Verify cable is connected and key is in Run Position
Also: VCM get info failed.
Verify it is connected properly and vehicle diagnostic port has power.
Also: Validate cable license F0

Same goes for the scanner mode.
I try to connect and it get the alert:
"Unable to get VCM Information.
Verify cable is connected and key is in RUN position."

Ideas?

Can you please send me a vcm suite infolog while not connected to the vehicle but connected to your interface to bill at hptuners.com

Are you using Vista?

In Vista, even if you delete that vcm suite.cfg file from the program directory, vista still uses a cached copy of that file that it copied to a seperate folder for compatability..

This is changed in the latest beta, and may help.

In the latest beta, all config files and such are stored in the my documents folder.
