    Black Box Dummy?...........

OK, Well I just got my tuner and laptop all setup a few days ago and took some logs via the laptop no problem.
So onto standalone logging, I read everything I could and even went through the demo http://www.hptuners.com/help/demos/s...onelogging.swf a bunch of times. I cannot record? After I tell it to write config, I get a busy light about every 2-3 seconds....I hit record and nothing happens. Just the busy lighy I spoke of. No err light or anything else, I checked to make sure all PID's are supported and they seem to be.
    Am I missing something?
TIA for any help. Sux being a noob.

Does the config write complete properly?

Did you hold in the record button for 2-3 seconds?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks Bill, I contacted support with link to this thread.

I also tried this same thing using my 2000 Tahoe with the same results.

I think you have to unplug it from your puter before pushing the record button don't you?

CSC04, sounds like your just getting into the HPtuners world. Welcome.

Let me know if you need any help, I am in colorado springs as well and do GM and ford tuning using HPtuners.

Do you have any dyno runs on your car yet?

This happened to me, all i had to do was remove and reinstall HPtuners. Worked perfect after that.

Thanks for the welcome, yes I am brand new to the HP tuners world, I was previously using the DHP PT.
I do not currently have any dyno runs yet on this car, but I would like to eventually. Maybe I can give you a holla for some hands on tuner tutorial?

    Thanks
