    maf/2bar question

i'm going to 2bar in my tahoe. its an 04 and in the tuning section it tells you not to disconnect the maf because it will revert the trans to full shift pressure. when you go to 2bar OS does it do away with this? i would like to ditch the maf if its not being used but not if its going to go to full line pressure.

Trans will revert to full line pressure on only a small handful of pcm's ie most 98-00 pcm's
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

nope, 2004. i ask because i swapped mafs with a friend to trouble shoot my turbo. and he says his truck shifts way better than it use to. mine seems to not shift so good but it may be in my head. but he is loving his truck all over again. but if i have nothing to worry about then i plan to ditch it soon as my coblat maf gets here.

04's don't default to max line pressure when the maf fails.
