Raising the values seems to raise the pressure spike during the shift.
When I put the gauge on to see what was going on with my 2-3 shift I noticed the pressure spike only when it shifts.
Then I noticed the upshift pressure modifier in the shift properties section and wondered what they do exactly. Naturally I pressed F1 and got nothing, so I figured it must be pretty obvious.

When you raise the upshift pressure modifier vs trans temp vs torque, it raises the line pressure seconds before, up to, and just after the shift.
