what happens if a customer buys a 2bar SD OS, does a write entire with his own credits and dongle and gives the car back to me for fine tuning? Can I still go ahead with read/writing or will it give me an license violation error?

You would need to have the license for the VCM & any enhancements on it If I am not mistaken.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
