    Missing Data in Histogramm

    Hi all,

i am a newbie but i´m in "learning mode", living in Germany and try to give my best in english.

So i have the HP Tuners Software installed on two PC´s.

One installation is on a Laptop (W2K Pro) and works fine.
The other is on my office PC (XP SP2) and works well until two Histo´s
are not completly filled with data.

In MainSpark timing advance and Knock retard are data lost.

I have check the installation (update 2.22 is on both) and can´t find
    anythink.

So please , can anyone help me to fix it.

    thanks a lot

    Marcel

The data isn't lost its just all in the first row, you probably aren't logging a couple of things properly.

If you post your .hpl file we should be able to determine the cause & solution.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Bill,
    thanks for your answer,

yes you are right , the data are in the 1st row. But why on the xp PC and not on the LAPtop.

    Its the same hpl file.

I will attached one of mine..

Its because on your PC you probably have a custom PID made up incorrectly

The quickest fix would probably be to delete the file named VCM Scanner.cfg on your xp PC & start over.

    ... yes i have build a cusomt PID (calc.EngineHP)

    but thats the only one.

I remove the VCM Scanner.cfg and start again.

Same result in the Histogramm only one row, but differents in the PID Table.

wow, its strange, its the same configuration on the Laptop ...

    thx a lot

Loading a config on your home pc(which has never been connected to a vehicle) will show unsupported Parameters in this case ie 02 fbody does not have a GMVE PID available.

Please check to ensure your regional settings in your control panel-Regional & language options are set to English(united states) as this is the default we go by.

What happens is the scanner will put a comma(,) instead of a period(.) which will ultimately skew the readings in both the editor & scanner.
