    Excel help? Changing cell reference

I've got a weird situation where I need to quickly change a cells reference.

For instance.. I have three columns

    MAP, RPM, G-Meter

But in another situation I have

MAP, RPM, Brake temp, G-Meter, Trans Temp

What i want to do is have a cell that says go to C1 for G-meter in the case I get the first set of data and D1 for G-meter if I get the second case of data by changing one cell that I'm going to use as a constant. For instance at the top of the page I'll have "data set in column, D" Is this possible?

You have to write a visual basic code to make it do that.
