    Air Bag Sensor

    Does anyone know how to turn off the air bag sensor on a 05 cobalt ss/sc. i accidentally set it off one time when i took my seat out

    Check your connections, if the light is staying on, that means the air bag system is not passing the test. When you start your vehicle, the air bag light flashes. Each flash is the system testing each sensor on the vehicle. Hope this helps.

    Disconnect the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    Remove and reconnect the plug you messed with before.
    Reconnect the battery and the system will reset.

    I had the same thing happen in my sky when I messed with the bag on the wheel. It stayed on until I followed the proper Air bag replacement procedure.

    i just brought home the tech 2 and it reset it that way
