    Fuel gauge calibration question

I have a 02 Z06, and it has a fuel gauge issue, I have already replaced the sending unit and all of the usual fixes, I did notice that GM has a flash to correct the calibration of the gauge.... Does anyone have the info for the calibration available so that I can change it in HPT?

    Thanks!

    1. what is problem with gauge?
    2. GM do have update software for fuel gauge calibration but you have to do it with tech-2 through tis 2000.

    Vette DR -

It just reads real random, never consistant.

I didnt know how GM would update the gauge without messing with my tune?
Is there a way for that to happen?

    Thanks again!

save your tune, flash your pcm with tech 2 and retune your car again

You will need to read the tune after the pcm has the updated flash. Then copy all the modified tables from your latest tune, then do a write calibration.

It's a shame that someone doesnt have the data from the flashed/fixed PCM that they could post

I'm sure it's nothing more than fixing some of the parameters that are currently in the fuel tank table..

    Anyone?

Might be in the Operating System and not a cal change. GM seems to do that.
