Thread: Wideband to sub for narrow.

    Wideband to sub for narrow.

Will be replacing my driver side narrowband O2 sensor on my '08 LS3 with a wideband with a 0-1v narrowband output. My question is instead of wiring in a resistor on the narrowband heated circuit can I just go in and disable the DTC's for that O2 heater on that bank and then wire my 0-1v into the existing narrowband harness and run without any issues? Searched through 10 pages on here with no luck so I figured I would just ask.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

get the LC1, u can use its 0-1v and 0-5v simultaneously so send signal to ur pcm for narrow and wide for ur guage and it can use ur primary o2 location

I know you can do that, but can you disable the DTC's for the heater on the narrowband you remove instead of having to wire in resistors to keep from throwing CEL's?
