Has anyone ran across this: After I READ THE TUNE ONLY, my buddies Procharged C5 Z06 has no instrument cluster or HUD. The HUD displays two underscores only. Does anyone have a fix for this?

yes, rewrite it and give 10 sec interval between off and on
All I did was read his current tune. We disconnected and reconnected the battery and that fixed the problem. My question is why would I need to rewrite the tune if I only read the current tune? Not being a smartazz, I really am curious. Thanks for the help.
