keep the cap off, and be sure the vent line on the top of the block is not plugged (and still goes to the reservoir).

we got the coolant system working, it just wouldnt take water when hot. but here is the tune and scan from today. we restarted it tonight and brought it up to temp, not back fires or misses and idled at 196 degrees. seems ok.

this should at least be a safe point to be at to continue tuning. Since the MAF maxes out, you need to richen up fueling at the end with PE. Once it hits about 6000 it seems to be maxed. I really hate to rely on PE like that, but at least in this case it is for a small RPM range.

ok, so what is going on when it goes in boost?

you may be able to see the light, but this is just the start. I wanted to help you get it safe to start tuning. Once the fueling is relatively close, you can fine tune it from there, that should help a lot as well.

I need to look in more detail, but here are some quick changes.

The min injector pulse was too low, causing injector misfire (lean condition)

The car also seems much leaner this time than the last.

At any rate, this one should be better. If I get some time tonight, I will try to go a little deeper in it for you.

tonight when mike gets home from work .i will put in a set of auto lites(just in-case) one step [email protected] the oil needs a change I'll do that to.the left bank o2 looks a little spiky? ,so the headers and down pipe will be checked again for tightness.i turned the msd pump booster all the way ccw to its lowest setting.on the next run it will be at center to see if it makes any difference.i do not know what fuel pump is in the car.i got it used with a vararam and slp loudmouth ,the tune had been changed too.we can post it if you want.the pressure @ the rail is a constant 62# with only a wiggle @ wot .the gage is set with 90* pluming so i can see it while driving .the exhaust is still blowing some black under hard acceleration but sweat at idle and cruise.your help has me thinking i may be able to drive this car again.
thanks from the Foote's ,I'll let you know some time tomorrow.

the spikes may simply be from the injectors going way lean at light to no load from being below their min pulse.

If the pressure stays at 62, I would leave the pump booster alone.

The smoke under hard accel could be oil from the PCV (depending how it is hooked up), too much fuel still (which looks a tad lean actually), or just how the car will be. You are sending a lot of fuel through there at WOT, I would expect some.

the MAF is jumping around quite a bit, more than I would expect. May want to try and clean it off with some electronic parts cleaner and see if it helps it.

I think the issues you see arond 4k are from it being very rich, where it was very lean on the last log.

yeah, sounds like it was rich, where it was quite lean the other day, this tune should help fix some of that.

Your MAF is still jumping all over the place, I do not like that.

Try a pull from like 1500 RPM to 5000, the MAF should show a somewhat smooth increase. Where is the MAF located, do you have a pic? Did you clean it off?

OK, kind of hard to see, I wanted to see what leads up to it. I doubt you can get a good pic of that though where it is located.
