Timing / VE both affect AFR..?

I was tuning my VE table with my wideband, getting it a little closer each day. Then I discovered my spark table was way way too low, so I bumped it up.

Consequently, my AFR went lean to varying degrees across the board.

My question is this. If i'm tuning my VE table with the air-fuel ratio, and spark advance also affects the air fuel ratio, what do I do? Get the spark table advanced as much as I can without KR, then focus on the AFR?

    thank you thank you,

You need to get ur VE table and AFR done first, then you move toward spark.

You simply have to re-do your VE table based on your new spark table.
