    HELP!

    *Sounds like Dave Chappell* HELP!!!!

Hey Everyone. I was trying to help a friend out today with his 98 A4 TA.

He had 2.73s and put 373s in it. I have the gears changed and all. I readjusted the shiftpoints to shift sooner for him.

instead of 40mph in 1st, its now 37.
now 1~>2 is 70 and 2~> is 110. I have the kickdowns at 2~>1 at 34, 3~2 at 65 and 4~>3 at 90. I copied them in all the files and had to re-adjust the TPS% table to match.

Everythign seems well on the 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 shifts and the 2-1 shift. but on the 3-2 shift..it doesn't want to downshift. it will pull 3rd gear through. What can I do to correct this?

The other thing that baffled us was after the 2-3 shift I still get errors for "low voltage" on all 4 O2 sensors.
    :-X ???

It did it in 1-2 but I moved the rev limiter up to 6400 in all the cells and it seemed to solved it of the 1-2 shift. Anyone else run into this?

Also, I turned off his tq management and have it set at 639. What else should I do? Its a 98 with a 373s, 160*, Lid and catback. I've already setup for the gears and the fans. Thanks for your help in advance!

Maybe check out the adjustingof the Transmission>
Shift Speed vs %TPS vs Shift (part-throttle up/down
shift) tables. These are kind of sucky, right from the
factory, but are probably downright whacked after
the gear change. As a start, I would just scale all
of the MPH values by (2.73/3.73) or 0.73.

Ok, I did adjust those files but my adjustments were not as low as the .73 that you have down there. I reconfigured it and saved it as the next file to use, so hopefully that will solve that problem. Thank YOU!!!!!!!!
(I would have never thought about that....I'm a newbie especially to the A4s)

My big question now is, if that doesn't fix the O2 sensor error, ......what will?
