    Kodiak

Has anyone ever tuned one before? I am trying it tomorrow for a friend of a friend. I am not going to go crazy on it, but just bump up a few lbs, and adjust for his tire sizes.

Not sure how you would be able to tell any difference on a 5 ton truck...

His biggest deal is that the tiresize has thrown of his transmission shifting because it thinks he is going a different speed and it shifts based on MPH.

Update: HPTuners did not have the options to change the tire size on his. Workign with Bill to get that figured out.

The early diesel calibrations don't have enough information to determine the tire size so they need to be scaled manually, this is true for not only kodiaks, but silverado's, sierra's, etc. that have that particular pcm.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
