    Scale transmission tables

Changing from 3.23's to 3.73's with an A4 with stock tires. Could someone explain how to use the "scale trans tables" to adjust the part throttle shift and ect.

    Re: Scale transmission tables

First, don't forget to save your original file in case you need to go back if you enter the wrong values.

All you need to do on this is divide your old gear by your new gear. This will give you the % difference. Enter that value into the scale multiplier window then click commit.

    3.23/3.73 = 0.86595

If you look under the scale multiplier window, there is an old/new example shift values. They are only examples to show what your new shift points will look like.

You can then verify the actual new shift points on the shift speed tables.

also, this will change very soon and be a simple yes/no checkbox that automatically scales the tables to account for new gear/tire so you don;t have to work out the factor.
