emission monitors

Can they be forced to run on say a 2004 Corvette? namely EVAP & Catalyst. Been trying to get them to run for the past month with no luck.

Thanks for the help. When it says DTC required to run, I am thinking trouble codes????

I'm a little lost on that part.

That means the system ran a check for that DTC in that particular drive cycle and checked out OK. Many tests run as soon as you start the car.
