    Torque Management

Can I get a step by step way to delete TM. So far I have set the abuse torque reduction table to all zeros and I have set the torque reduction vs. torque vs. shift table to all zeros as well.

Is this all I have to do?

    Thanks!

    Re: Torque Management

I believe abuse torque reduction is for when you've
done something really dumb or the trans has got its
feelings hurt. If "normal" hard driving isn't putting you
into Abuse mode then I would leave the "safety net".

I also think your transmission will live longer if you
only reduce, not zero, the torque reduction params.

I would like to obtain understanding of the param
basis - I've seen my EFILive logs with timing slam to
-5 during shifts, is the table param a maximum timing
reduction, or a modifier to the commanded torque value
that somehow >ends up at< a spark pull? What I would
prefer is to have about a 5- to 10-degree spark pull
during shifts. Just need to figure out if this is something
obvious or something you have to back into by Mystery
    Algorithm #12.

HPTuners, do you believe the "basis" you display your
params under is the same as in general LS1 use (i.e. are
other-tool-users' explanations to be taken at face value
or are there "dialect differences" from tool to tool to tool
to be borne in mind when researching)?
