02 grand prix 3.1 Plz check tune

I would just like to know if this is a safe tune for the transmission? I have lowerd the torque managment, raised the base line pressure and shortend the shift times by .050 sec. Just looking for firmer shifts.

You are safe to tune the tranny disable all tq management, rise the shifts to 6000 rpms and if you would like i can tune your pcm for you to max the performance of your car

No Thanks, I am practicing tuning on my brothers car, so if I mess it up I dont feel so bad as if I messed up my dads car.

Post your stock tune. Are the tires stock size/dia?

NOTE: That I have not done any engine tuning yet, I was just asking if the lowered Tq reduction and increased shift pressures are safe for the trans.

This trans tune is based on your modified tune. The performance shift tables are only used for cars that have the performance shift button (GTP's),
or trucks with the tow/haul button.

Use my config file for scanning, just insert your brand of wideband in the table display, in place of the FJO wideband.

Thanks Russ! The Trans feels alot better.

I still need to get a wideband for tuning , but that link was a good little read.
