    AFR Tuning using a Wideband

    I have a couple of questions about this subject.

    Should the AFR be in the 14.7 range when starting from a cold start?
    Should the AFR be in the 14.7 range while in Open loop with the engine warm?

    From what I can find, it should always be in the 14.7 range. If so, what should be adjusted to get it there. Mine is running in the 12.8 to 13.2 range till the system goens into closed loop.

    I made changes to the Idle air in P/G and it does not seem to make any difference.

    OLFA, in most cases, for cold start adjustment. Yes, it should be around 14.7, mine is just slightly richer on startup, but not much.

    I have attached the OLFA table for Open loop. It looks like the numbers are in the 1.00 range for the MAPs and temps during the normal startup

    Does it pull values from the OLFA table only at idle? What about a 2bar SD tune?
    2000 ECSB Sierra, with a lot of tuning to do.

    It pulls values from here when in OL, except when in PE it takes the richer of the two.
