Swap VE Tables from diff years?

The stock tune on a 98 Regal GS (L67) I'm tuning for my friend is terrible! I found a bin for a stock 2002 GS which looks 100% better. I just want to be able to start modifying a table that's already halfway decent. I've already done some modification to the 98 table but it seems hopeless as you can see. Are they fairly compatible?

On my 98 LS the stock VE table is ALL "80" in every box! try tuning that lol....

I replaced my VE with one from a 2000 3.4L Impala.... but haven't drove it with the MAF off yet to find out how good it is.

Every year regal and probalby even gps have a different table for some unknown reason. If your tuning the VE anyways, starting with another 3800 tables shouldn't be a big deal. Just make sure you're watching knock and such if you working the upper half of it.
