    Logging shift rpm

06 TBSS with 3000 stall and servos. When trans scanning, I am logging "trans pressure mod" "trans SS pressure mod" and others but does the actual shift happen when it goes from steady state to shift? When it goes from steady state to shift it happens at 6128 rpm but the engine rpm will top out at 6511 rpm before dropping down.

I gather this must have been a ridiculous question. I just noticed that the trans shows it to shift and the engine rpm still continues......I take it that the trans is in shift mod and the actual shift happens at the top rpm. I'll adjust it closer to top out at 6200rpm.

Generally that is the commanded shift point but the hydraulics take time to activate.

Thanks, after thinking about it and having someone else drive so I can pay attention to what was happening, I figured that's what was going on. I seem to have trouble driving, looking at the rpms, and trying to pay attention to what the trans is doing etc...
