Hello,

I just had a couple of questions about the Colorado/ Canyon PCMs. Sorry if I'm not using the correct GM term, but I've worked solely with Ford PCMs for the past 3 years, and this is my first GM vehicle.

Anyways, on to the questions...
Who is the manufacturer and what is the "model number" of the Colorado PCM?

What communications protocol does this PCM use? I'm familiar with Ford SCP, ISO, and CAN systems, but like I said before, I'm not to familiar with GM protocols, but they appear similar enough that I could pick it up quickly.

Finally, what is needed to change the tire size in the PCM? Can this be done with a tech2, or is there some strange new procedure? I know with Ford that tire size is programmed (during final assembly) with the rest of the VID block. I'd like to know this, because I plan on changing tire sizes on my truck, and I'd rather not spend $500 on a tuner or $150 at the dealer if its something I can do myself. I have access to an updated tech2 through someone at work.

Anyways, thanks for the help!

Eric.
