    Hi…

I am Abdulwahab AL-Mutian, and it is the first writing to me in HPtune forum.

I registered myself to educate and learn the tuning techniques using HPtuners, and to exchange ours finding/problems or any good words. I placed an order to purchase VCM suit a week ago, and it will arrive soon.

    More information about me:

I am a mechanical engineer graduated form KFUPM “at KSA”, and work with an oil company as a maintenance engineer.

I live in KSA, in “AL-HASSA” around 150Km from Dhahran.

I am not a professional technician, but I can do most of the jobs in my home starting with small jobs and not limited to overhaul, fabricating, welding, and the wiring termination. “My father and grand father were mechanics”

I Love old GM cars and the new LS engines “GM III”.

I don’t have any experience in programming any engine; we used to setup and tune the old GM engine manually. Advance the Delco “spark distributor”, change the carburetor, MSD system etc…

I have a modified JEEP wrangler with LS1 engine and 33” tires.

    Best Regard, AAM

Hey the name is Kurtis. I have been tuning for a while in the Subaru world, and have been looking for the ability to tune my latest project. I have a Hemi Swap in a 2001 Durango, and want to get the capability to tune it before I start doing cams and any other mods. The truck is a lot of fun with the stock Hemi, but tuning capability is limiting me currently. I could use SCT or Diablo, but I do not like having to have someone else tune my cars.

Just wanted to say hello, and thanks HPT for this site. My name is Eric and I have started the tuning process of my Balt with the help of a friend who has HTP. Looking forward to tweeking it and getting some more HP/TQ out of it.
Not new to the tuning thing, as I have been doing a good bit with the use of handhelds, but with HPT there is so much more to learn.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the tuning part of cars. I have a 2001 Camaro SS and a 1998 Z/28. My SS is my daily driver and My Z is the work in progress.
I have watched people tune on my car and wanted to be able to do it on my own.

Hey all, new to tuning. Just purchased the starter pack. Done some serious reading so far and looking forward to getting into it. You will have to excuse my stupid questions

Live in Canberra, Australia. Own a VL Turbo Commodore and Have a VX SS Commodore. The VX ATM is just a 1 bar SD tune with all the usual bolt ons. Its not super fast for a bolt on car @ 12.8 111mph with a 1.85 60fter. In the final stages of a 408ci TT mill. Really just looking to really learn how the logging functions work and basic tuning for different race tracks when the car is pulling some serious numbers.

    Cheers Luke

Hi, i'm new. A lot of you will probably recognize my signature.

I am in the process of purchasing a Harrop HTV1320LSJ for my 06 Cobalt SS/SC, and will be lurking to learn as much as i can.

Don't worry, i won't be tuning it myself, i will leave that up to the guys that know best. I would just like to learn as much as i can, and eventually i should be able to tweak things myself, and be able to learn and share knowledge with others.

Hey all...finally made the plunge to start datalogging/tuning my own car. I'm over on LS1tech and LS1GTO under the same username.

    A little backstory:

Car is a 2004 GTO, M12 6-speed with a Forged, stock displacement, 9:1 SCR LQ9 block, small cam, Vic Jr EFI intake, and ported 243 heads. I have been updating the STS turbo system since I put it on the car...currently an intercooled 76GTS (.96A/R) with lots of hot and cold side modification for more airflow.

The car has a great baseline tune in it from someone I trust, and I just want to learn more about what is working in the tune, and what could be improved, if it can be. (Currently running SD with a 2-bar MAP sensor.) I also like the ability to datalog on passes and change from low-boost to high-boost tunes without heading to the shop.

Looking forward to learning more and going faster!
