    Setting speed limiter on 07 Silverado.

    Tuning a 07 Silverado for better gas economy but the guy also wants for it to run stronger. Go figure. But anyways i went to the speedo settings and changed the speed limiter to 130mph but it still cuts off at 98. So i then decided to go ahead and set it to the max setting and it stills cuts off at 98. Is there another way i need to do this or a another place i need to put the speed limiter at, like maybe somewhere in the trans settings. All help is greatly appreciated. And hopefully i have this is the right place. thanks Mike

    Have you checked out the sticky at the top of the Gen 4 V8 section? Theres an awful lot of good information and it would be a shame if it went overlooked.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
