    6.0 vortec 2002 oil usage

i change oil every 3000 miles, i do not use any for 2000 and in the last 1000
    i use 2 quarts . i have 130,000 on engine.
is this normal ? the guys at auto zone told me to come to this site and ask.
i cannot find a drop of oil anywhere on engine and no smoke out of tailpipe and nothing in anti freeze.

    help please

I would put my money on PCV. Pull your intake piping off and open the TB. Once my oil has about 1500 miles on it, it likes to go through the PCV faster.

Eh, I do not think that will even make a difference. The problem is with the baffling. The LS6 valley cover works great until it gets soaked with oil and then it is just as shitty.
