    Need help

    I read the cal and I had no check sum

    I can't save the file (I think)
    I am not sure if I should just burn a stock NA cal into it and then start all over

    If you can wait, you may be able to send the file and an infolog to support. They my be able to make the file usable. I know you are not the first person to come across that as many of the other tuning packages don't fix the (or some of the) checksums when the file is modified. Try saving the file and see if it opens.

    YES I read about this concern before I posted. I am using a laptop that was not connected to the Internet. I am now connected, but my PC isn't

    I sent my router and the power supply to the old router to Rock Hill SC. I have no router until I go down at Christmas.

    PCM bracket has a sticker EVX1

    PCM has a Roush Sticker on it.

    I am under the impression from visual ID of the bung in the exh pipe and the fact that the Ford tech told me that the Roush Tune was removed.

    Fox95 gave me a hand with this last night. I much appreciate that.

    I programmed the car between emails and put the wrong OSID in the car. -4 credits.
    This caused a no start, but I had no stock tune that I could install. I search for my OSID.

    I found a tune that had my OSID in a Thread Titled "What did I get myself into?"



    With a little help from Fox95 I think I have a great base tune. Not just a good base tune, but a great base tune.

    See I had no VIN stored in my ECM. I couldn't licence my HPT to get started.

    I will let you all know how it goes.

    I have a few questions.
    1. Should the MAF Adaption be Disabled when I am trying tho sort this out?
    2. Does anyone know what the Black Injectors flow that comes with the 445hp ROUSHcharger® Kit?
    3. I have the Knock Advance Limit set to 0, but I have the Knock retard Rate at 3.00. I think it has helped with the pinging. Is this and OK setting?
    4. Any advice on setting the MAF vs Voltage?


    I Read this and understand most of it, but this will be the first Ford that I have tuned.

    When this car was at the last Ford dealer it had set a P0171.
    I added a Steeda CAI box and MAF housing.
    The first tune that was given to me was about -30% combined fuel trim and it pinged
    I have played around with the MAF vs Voltage Stickley Copy and Pasting. One time I had great idle fuel trims and now I have great Fuel trims at 2500 rpm's, but the Idle was bad.
    I plan on getting the Wideband out of the Caddy this week.

    Fuel Trims were over -25% all the time.

    This one is very chunky when first getting going, but the fuel trim above 2000 looks great. It looks like 16% tps




    I am a Caddy tech and I read G/Sec. how would you like this posted?

    On the last post I was at the following
    Cold start after Idling about 2 minutes
    • RPM was 808
    • TPS was steady at 13%
    • Short Terms were -27% and -26%
    • MAF 7.16 (g/sec)


    After 6 minutes of Idling
    • RPM was 759
    • TPS was 13%
    • STFT was -29%
    • MAF was 6.61 (g/sec)


    on test drive
    • RPM was at 2066
    • TPS was a steady 18%
    • STFT 0%
    • LTFT 1.6% and 2.3%
    • MAF 23.31 (g/sec)


    Slight decel
    • RPM was 2128 coming down from 2400
    • TPS was 15% coming down from 18%
    • STFT -13% and -16%
    • LTFT -10.2% and -12.5%
    • MAF 12.14 (g/sec)


    Remember I have the MAF adaption on

    After I get back from a 6 road hour trip today (in another car) I will see if I can't post my logs. The Laptop is not connected to the Internet at my house.

    Tune #5 bring it off idle was hard it was way too rich.
    Some place along the line I changed the Baro to 29 from 27.5". This tune is the last one that has the 29.2 baro.

    I still don't know the flow rate of the Fuel Injectors that come with the RoushCharger 445 hp kit. They are black.
    This information would really help me.
