    Banging when put into gear

It's an 02 or 03 vette, I'm going behind someone elses tune, so it's hard to say what's done exactly, but it jumps pretty hard when you go from P/N into gear.

It's idling at about 850 currently. I thought that maybe it was all the airflow tables excessivly high causig it, but since they've been lowered it still does it. The car also has a 3200 converter in it.

    Any ideas?

Is it in SD mode? Does it bang all the time or just from p/n into gear?

You might try checking the force motor table. My 99 Camaro was doing the samething, when i put it back to stock settings in started going into gear nice and smooth like stock.

could have a shift kit installed, some company's change the forward accumulator spring, or line pressure is cranked up, or wave spring in the forward clutch is broke.
