    TAPS on allison

I am tuning a 2007.5 LMM for a guy. He put in the Transgo JR shift kit. Everything is fine with the exception of the shift inhibited message being displayed and the truck not going into gear. The instructions in the kit say to reset the trans fast adapt. I see it in the VCM scanner but the button is not available to reset. ANY thoughts

    Thanks

I've just used the "Trans Adapt" in the scanner and have not really had an issue? There's a guy on dieselplace.com who owns a tranny shop and is an Allison "guru" you could say. Mike L. is his name and Inglewood Transmissions is the shop name. You could ask him and he might be able to help you. Or if the guy got his Transgo Jr. from somewhere they might know? There's always [email protected] they can usually answer questions along these lines... I always wondered why the button was greyed out. Hope this helps!

He's already emailed support and I'm having our engineer look into it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
