04 Ion Redline - WAY out of warranty...been getting the code with intermittent consistency (if that makes sense). Swapped out the purge solenoid in the engine bay, but threw the code again this morning.
I'm told I need to monitor the in-tank Fuel Pressure Sensor to make sure it's doing its job properly...is that something I can scan with HPT and log - or am I relegated to a visit to the stealership for their Tech2?

I think you may need a Tech2. Even if you are able to monitor the FTP sensor, I don't think HPT can force the EVAP system to seal to do a proper diagnosis.

Upon further inspection, you can.
Under VCM controls -> General, you should be able to force the EVAP system to seal (Purge sol -> open, Vent sol -> closed).
Log the Fuel Tank Pressure; Fuel System -> Fuel Tank
Unfortunately, it logs in Volts, so you'll have to figure out what it translates to in units h20. The specified range when idling at 1200-1500rpm is -1 to +1 water column.
